The Trust Board

 Introducing Your Trust
Bill (WE) Mallet (Chair); Bill is  a representative of the St Peters by the Sea congregation. A retired charted accountant and part time resident of Urquhart’s Bay, he is a regular attendee at services held at the Church.  He believes it is essential to maintain the ongoing availability and use of the Church by the community, especially the three congregations that call the Church their home. Being and active Trustee is one way he can further these beliefs and feels honoured to be a part of the Trust.
Anne Puttnam (Secretary) Anne is a representative from the Catholic faith on the Trust and is also a founding member
Sue Rishworth (Deputy Chair) Sue is a Representative of the Community on the Trust She was born and raised in Whangarei, with my father's family arriving in Albertland, Wellsford in 1862 as part of the non-conformist community of settlers from England.  Sue and her husband Chris moved to the Whangarei Heads in 2011 and were married in this Church.  Sue's background is in nursing and counselling and she is currently working as a Palliative care Counsellor. In her leisure time Sue enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren, getting out into the bush and onto the sea. Sue cares deeply about the area that she lives in and is committed to the protection of this unique and precious place.
Margaret Hall (Treasurer) Margaret is a founding member of the Trust
Bruce Johnson  Bruce is a representative from the Descendants on the Trust
David Reyburn; A descendant of a pioneering Whangarei family and has lived all his life in Whangarei. As a long-time member of St Andrews Church, he is the Presbyterian member of the Trust. The family have owned and enjoyed a batch at Taurikura for over 70 years and during that time have been associated with the Historic Church located in McLeod Bay. David is a retired Surveyor and has a keen interest in local history, and in community affairs.
Leanne Jagger; As direct descendant of the first Nova Scotian families that settled in the Whangarei Heads and built the Church, Leanne still has very strong ties to the area with her family still on the origional property. Preserving the history and landmarks associated with this unique place and allowing future generations to have a physical past is incredibly important to her.  Leanne is a representative of the Community and Descendants and follows in her father's footsteps who was a founding member of the Trust
Peter Coates Peter is the representative from the Whangarei Heads Citizens Association and a founding member of the Trust
Colin Andrews Colin is a representative of the Anglican faith on the Trust.
